Starting Nullware
Nullware is a founder-led product lab. The idea is small and specific: build specialized, optimized tools for the new AI generation — and write about the work along the way.
Most software is built to be general. That is the right call when you do not yet know who will use a thing or how. But generality has a cost: every feature that serves everyone serves no one particularly well. The new generation of AI-native work rewards the opposite instinct — sharp tools that do one thing precisely, compose cleanly, and get out of the way.
What this is
- A place to ship small, focused products.
- A log of how they get built — decisions, trade-offs, and the occasional dead end.
- A standing bet that specialized and optimized beats broad and generic.
What this is not
It is not an agency, a portfolio, or a feed of AI hype. There are no “10x” claims here. Just tools, and honest notes about making them.
The first products are in progress. This blog is where the thinking shows up first — so if that sounds interesting, the RSS feed is the way to follow along.
